Inauguration of Cardiology and Neurosurgery Departments
CHR Kolda strengthens its technical platform with the opening of two new specialized departments in 2025.
The Regional Hospital Center of Kolda has taken a major step in improving healthcare in the region with the inauguration of two new departments: Cardiology and Neurosurgery.
These new departments will allow the population of the Kolda region to access specialized care without having to travel to Dakar or other major cities.
The Neurosurgery department is led by Dr. Naténing Doumbya, while the Cardiology department has modern equipment for electrocardiography and echocardiography.
